Wreck-It Ralph is a series of three (soon to be four) arcade games that feature characters and environments from the movie. The first is a direct port of the Fix-It Felix Jr. arcade game that Ralph calls home, the second will remind players of Doodle Jump and other "bounce as high as you can" games, and the third is a very modest twin-joystick shooter. 

Each of these games have their own offline and online leaderboards, which allow you to compare scores with the world, and/or friends on Facebook. Besides that, there is little to this micro game-suite: you won't find any cosmetic items, credits to earn, or in-app payments.

Fix-It Felix plays very much like the Donkey Kong and Mario Bros titles it was based off of. You'll jump from platform to platform fixing windows as Ralph proceeds to wreck them. You'll also dodge bricks thrown by Ralph and birds that fly horizontally across the screen, as well as navigate obstacles like flower planters that prevent you from moving upwards, or open shutters that block side-to-side jumps. 

However, it has the same problem as a lot of other games from the past do: its format hasn't aged well. Mashing the button to fix windows and moving through never-ending levels can be fun for a little bit, but once you pass the ten minute mark it can become dull. While new challenges are added to make the game harder, the overall look of the game doesn't change, leading to a very repetitive experience. 

Sugar Rush Sweet Climber is just as simplistic, but holds up better because the game type is a bit more recent. You also have the benefit of multiple power-ups, which will add a little bit more variety to each play-through. Like we said before, the mechanics are nothing new, but it remains a great port of something familiar, and will serve you well. 

Hero's Duty is a concept that most mobile gamers will find familiar, too: use one joystick to move, and the other to shoot. While mowing down waves of monsters, you can pick up power-ups, shoot exploding barrels, and keep the enemies from eating the very floor you're standing on. Its controls are tight, and like Sweet Climber, it does a good job at transplanting something that works into the world of the movie. 

Two mini games have been added in the latest update: Turbo Time and Flight Command.

A common theme of these mini-games is familiarity, and you may be wondering why you might pick up this game when much better titles are out there. The answer to this is that while the mini-games in Wreck-It Ralph aren't anything new, they almost provoke the same amount of nostalgia as the movie does. Everyone remembers the first time they picked up one of these games that just clicked with them, and thankfully the developers have managed to exude the same amount of polish here.

Where's My Perry? takes the same format as Where's My Water? If you haven't played the original game featuring Swampy the Alligator, then you're missing out on one of the true gems of mobile gaming; together these two games make a beautiful pair (or should that be pear?) 

Where's My Perry? follows the protagonist, Perry the Platypus, a secret agent. Unfortunately, rather than being able to get on with the serious business of saving the world, Perry is constantly getting stuck in his transportation tubes. 

The game involves solving the puzzles to help Perry on his way. It's familiar territory and the storyline, well, it's there as a suggestion that there is some purpose other than puzzling your way through the levels, which there really isn't. That doesn't bother us, because the levels present plenty of variety and the overarching story is only really there to add interest. 

Like Where's My Water?, it's a credit to Disney that it managed to come up with enough to save the game from getting stale. Equally, we're impressed that this game doesn't just copy the previous one. Where's My Perry? has plenty of originality, even though the gameplay is essentially the same. 

You control the flow of water to help Perry on his way, getting the water from wherever it might be pooled, to Perry's chamber. It might be a case of simply carving out a path for it to flow from one point to another - always remembering to collect the gnomes en route. 

At other times things are much more tricky. You might have a block of ice you need to melt, and once you've collected the water, you might have to zap it to turn it into steam to get it to rise to the top of the level. Or you might have to alternate through ice-water-steam to get through a maze. Physics teachers of the world rejoice, phase transitions have come to mobile gaming! 

There are 80 levels across four chapters, and like Where's My Water? we can expect updates in the future to keep you entertained. 

Where's My Perry? joins Where's My Water? as one of our favourite mobile games: it's simple in concept, yet incredibly playable, whether you have 5 minutes or 50 minutes to fill.

Armed with your trusty rifle and a handful of grenades, you're pushed out onto the beaches of Normandy and instructed to crush the German army and give Hitler a solid kick up the behind.
This epic struggle for justice plays out as a 3D duck-and-cover-style shooter, with your soldier popping his head around corners to snipe at the delicate craniums of various identikit German infantrymen. 

The gameplay in Frontline Commando: D-Day is broken up into sections. Most of the time you'll be cowering behind a wall, with a quick button-press causing your avatar to pop his head out of cover in order to take aim. Another button triggers the scope, allowing for precise targeting, and yet another on-screen key takes the actual shot itself. 

Once you've cleared an area of hostiles, the game will automatically put your soldier into a sprint, with you having rudimentary control over his horizontal movement. This allows you to avoid obstacles (which can be leapt over, if you time it right), dodge deadly minefields, and generally get yourself into the optimum position for shooting another cluster of nasty Germans at the next combat point. 

Along the way you'll also man anti-aircraft guns and fire bazookas into heavily-armoured tanks - all part of the gruesome spectacle that was WWII. -pocketgamer.co.uk

The lasagna-loving lord of laziness, Garfield, has finally found a way to run off some of those calories in Garfield’s Wild Ride, the crazed side-scrolling runner out now on smartphones and tablets.  

Unfortunately for Garfield’s waistline, all this running isn’t going to do him much good, as it all happens when he’s fast asleep. It turns out that when he’s not dreaming of lasagna, Garfield imagines himself hurtling through the air light as a feather in a world loaded with cat gymnastics, loony pick-ups and batty bonuses. Unlikely as it sounds, in his dreams Garfield can defy gravity. 

Garfield’s Wild Ride offers accessible single-finger gameplay to guide Garfield through a series of treacherous obstacles as players tackle 45 different missions across 3 radically different environments. Unlikely bonus pickups include jockeying a giant Odie or donning a helmet for a spin on a skateboard, with the option to purchase coins for extra in-game items. Garfield can also be fully customized in wild ways from dashing hats to space-cat, with more costumes available to buy in-game and coming in future updates. Jettison lasagna – it’s time to lift off!

After the physics puzzle game Where's My Water and its cutesy alligator mascot gained a nice little fanbase on Android, Where's My Perry was released last year, with a somewhat odd tie-in to the Phineas And Ferb cartoon. Now Disney has reached all the way back to Mister Mouse himself, and Where's My Mickey is available on the Google Play Store.

The gameplay is the same as it ever was: swipe away sand and dirt to allow water to flow into a reservoir, now represented by Mickey Mouse's beach bucket. To keep things fresh, Where's My Mickey adds some new weather effects to help clear the blockage and create some interesting puzzles. Winds blow and crack their cheeks, cataracts and hurricanes (or at least small thunderstorms) spout and drench the beaches. 

The game includes a few simple cartoons based on the new Disney Channel series, with a retro-futuristic art style for Mickey and his gang. (Unfortunately, the ear-piercing castrato voice has remained intact.) The XL app gets access to 20 extra levels, and both have six Goofy-themed levels, with more available via an in-app purchase. Like the previous Where's My Water games, more content will be added in future updates. It's a shame the developers decided to split the app up into phone and tablet versions - I thought we were over that. -androidpolice.com

The goal of Hundreds: Grow at least 100 points between the circles in each puzzle. Circles turn red and volatile while being grown and if they collide, it’s game over. 

Sounds simple, right?  It is.  But various mechanics introduced to the game make it more challenging.  While circles are expanding they change color to red and if during this state a collision occurs, the round is over.  Various obstacles such as stationary objects that you must avoid and bubbles, oh so confusing bubbles, are introduced to add a new element to each puzzle.  With over one hundred levels, each one introduces a new mechanic or manipulates a previously introduced one in a manner that creates a challenge, sometimes minimal and sometimes truly confounding. -therebelliousandroid.com
