Wreck-It Ralph is a series of three (soon to be four) arcade games that feature characters and environments from the movie. The first is a direct port of the Fix-It Felix Jr. arcade game that Ralph calls home, the second will remind players of Doodle Jump and other "bounce as high as you can" games, and the third is a very modest twin-joystick shooter. 

Each of these games have their own offline and online leaderboards, which allow you to compare scores with the world, and/or friends on Facebook. Besides that, there is little to this micro game-suite: you won't find any cosmetic items, credits to earn, or in-app payments.

Fix-It Felix plays very much like the Donkey Kong and Mario Bros titles it was based off of. You'll jump from platform to platform fixing windows as Ralph proceeds to wreck them. You'll also dodge bricks thrown by Ralph and birds that fly horizontally across the screen, as well as navigate obstacles like flower planters that prevent you from moving upwards, or open shutters that block side-to-side jumps. 

However, it has the same problem as a lot of other games from the past do: its format hasn't aged well. Mashing the button to fix windows and moving through never-ending levels can be fun for a little bit, but once you pass the ten minute mark it can become dull. While new challenges are added to make the game harder, the overall look of the game doesn't change, leading to a very repetitive experience. 

Sugar Rush Sweet Climber is just as simplistic, but holds up better because the game type is a bit more recent. You also have the benefit of multiple power-ups, which will add a little bit more variety to each play-through. Like we said before, the mechanics are nothing new, but it remains a great port of something familiar, and will serve you well. 

Hero's Duty is a concept that most mobile gamers will find familiar, too: use one joystick to move, and the other to shoot. While mowing down waves of monsters, you can pick up power-ups, shoot exploding barrels, and keep the enemies from eating the very floor you're standing on. Its controls are tight, and like Sweet Climber, it does a good job at transplanting something that works into the world of the movie. 

Two mini games have been added in the latest update: Turbo Time and Flight Command.

A common theme of these mini-games is familiarity, and you may be wondering why you might pick up this game when much better titles are out there. The answer to this is that while the mini-games in Wreck-It Ralph aren't anything new, they almost provoke the same amount of nostalgia as the movie does. Everyone remembers the first time they picked up one of these games that just clicked with them, and thankfully the developers have managed to exude the same amount of polish here.

Game Review:

The gist of the tale is that King Arthur has gone mad after learning Queen Guinevere has betrayed him with Sir Lancelot (that's you). Along with his sister, Morgana Le Fey, Arthur summons demons to wreak havoc on the kingdom and imprisons Guinevere. You have to save the day, and that means a lot of hacking and slashing. The story is cool, and it informs the nature of the action. However, there's not a lot of substance in the storytelling. This is not Gameloft's strong suit so I can't say I'm really surprised.

Wild Blood is a heavily guided action-adventure game with some RPG elements. Each zone is split into small parts cordoned off with glowing energy barriers. To continue, you have to defeat the monsters that spawn in that area. This might only be one wave or it might be several. After spending some time with this game, I think this is positive. I despise poorly designed levels that make it hard to figure out where you need to go next, and that seems more common in mobile games. Wild Blood doesn't have that problem thanks to the more guided experience. To break up the murdering, you will come across some neat puzzles that open chests filled with gold.

Sprinkled throughout the game are small fountains that are used to save your progress and buy upgrades. You can improve the effectiveness of your weapons, armor, and special attacks with a little gold. I would prefer that the game autosaved more frequently so you could just close it at any time and come back to it, but this is an acceptable system.

Put simply, Wild Blood is fun. It's not a deep game, but it's great for mindlessly slicing monsters to death while looking good. The download is hefty, but it's worth it. My Nexus 7 does have some performance issues with Wild Blood, but it's not nearly as bad as some users are reporting. If you enjoy this kind of game, Wild Blood is a safe bet. --androidpolice.com

Asphalt 7: Heat gives you exactly the kind of arcade racing experience you've been hoping for. It's also the nicest-looking game in the series. Asphalt 7 Heat isn't a simulator, but it's definitely a great buy for old-school Ridge Racer and Outrun fans, or anyone who wants a real arcade-style racing game—without excuses. (You need at least 1.3 GB free space to install the APK and the SD DATA Files) 

There are 60 different cars you can drive on 15 tracks, set in various cities such as London, Paris, and Rio. You start off with a Fiat 500 Abarth. Gradually, you move up the line to a BMW Z4 M Coupe, a Nissan 370Z, and later, Aston Martins and Lamborghinis, unlocking more cars and upgrading them as you go along. The latest update includes the 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo and the refreshed 2013 Hyundai Genesis. 

Cars are separated into six different tiers based on their performance characteristics; each event you race in is limited to a single tier. You can also customize the paint, decals, and window tint of each car, as well as upgrade its performance with virtual money you win as you play. But upgrades aren't always worth it; increasing top speed by just 2 km/h cost $18,000, which is ridiculous. Sometimes you get a free car just for one event; I was thrilled to take the wheel of an Audi TT after driving the Fiat, and moving to the second tier starts you off with a fast BMW 1 Series M Coupe. 

You steer your car by tilting the handset right or left, and the car accelerates automatically. Tap toward the left side of the screen, and it will light up a brake pedal icon and slow the car. The right side of the screen is the nitro boost area; tap it for a seven-second overboost. Do it with a full boost gauge, and the screen turns blue with neon blue accents, and you hear a prominent whoosh sound as you charge forward. You can also drift by braking and tilting the handset at the same time, which is fun, although it slows you down considerably. 

There are 15 leagues and 150 races to complete. You also get a series of goals ahead of each event, such as completing three career events, earning three stars in any one event, and collecting 10 dollar pick-ups. As you complete goals, new ones appear, such as drifting a certain total distance during an event, wrecking less often, or "knocking down" a certain number of opponents by causing them to crash. Meanwhile, power ups are strewn throughout the course. Some of them add to your nitro boost, while others give you prize money.  Push it too hard—say, crash into an oncoming car head-on, or hit a building—and you'll wreck, although aside from wasting a few seconds, it doesn't have much effect on the game itself. 

The computer-controlled AI offers a moderate level of difficulty, and a new multiplayer mode lets you race with up to five friends, either online or locally. Overall, there's a nice sense of accomplishment as you move through the various events. And between the races, time-trials, and position elimination modes, there's enough variety to keep you engaged.
